II (NYSE: ATEK.U) (“Athena Technology II” or “the Company”) today that January 28, 2022, holders of 25,375,000 units sold in the company’s initial public offering (which includes the partial exercise amount of the underwriters’ over-allocation option to purchase an additional 375,000 units) may separately elect to trade the company’s Class A common stock and warrants embedded in the units.
Class A common stock and separate warrants are traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbols “ATEK” and “ATEK WS,” respectively. No partial orders will be issued when units are separated and only full orders will be traded. These non-separate units will continue to trade under the New York Stock Exchange symbol “ATEK.U.” Unitholders will need to require their brokers to contact Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company, the company’s transfer agent, in order to separate units into shares of Class A common stock and warrants.
Athena Technology 2 is the third female plumber Athena has founded Isabel Friedheim, after Athena Technology Acquisition Corp., which was the first women’s SPAC to announce a business group, and Athena Consumer Acquisition Corp., which closed its public offering in October 2021.
